Once again Adam rocked it out on American Idol. He performed his unique version of “Born to be Wild.” For some reason they decided to have Quinten Tarrantino on critiquing the singers. He knows nothing about music and is simply a director. The guy is crazy anyway so it is entertaining to see him on this kind of program. The only problem is he really thinks he knows what he is talking about. The advice he gave Danny about stopping himself from moving his hands so much didn’t work and the telling Anoop to use emphasis on certain key melodies in his song didn’t work either. Both of them did as they wanted or felt more comfortable with.

Allison did a powerhouse rendition of Aerosmith’s song “I Don’t want to miss a thing.” She was praised for her work as was Adam, but everyone else lagged. Poor Lil Rounds seems to have faltered once again singing “The Rose” but she did try to turn it into something with a more r&b feel to it. She did sing it well, but for some reason she still can’t grab it as her own. Simon made a comment that he lost respect for her artistry and she spoke out how she felt claiming that she did her best with the song and added her flavor to it. And she did do that. I don’t think she should go home though. Matt Giraudi should go home this week based on his poor rendition of a Bryan Adams song. He has been up and down as much as Lil’ has if not more. So, he should go home before she does. Anoop is barely hanging in there and will probably go home within the next three weeks.

The bottom three should include Matt, Lil’ Rounds, and Anoop with Matt going home. Chris did an ok job this week but the girls will keep him in this week and Danny isn’t going anywhere. After Scott was sent home last week many felt that the judges should have used the save on him, however, Simon was right. He said that there were other singers that they were concerned about and would rather use the save on them in case something odd happens and they get voted off such as Allison or Adam. I don’t see them using it on anyone else and it is very likely that if the judges don’t use it by the time they come down to the final four that they will use to see what happens. Final four should be Chris, Allison, Adam, and Danny at this point.

Dancing with the Stars showed off the skills of a few and lack of skills by most. Shawn Johnson came out ahead in my opinion but the judges gave top numbers to Lil’ Kim. The judges praised the rappers jive, but I thought it was a mess. She got messed up two different times as her partner kept on beat, but surprisingly Lil Kim was unable to stay on beat. Len, the head judge felt the performance was too theatrical and didn’t have enough jive steps in it the dance. He was right but nobody mentioned how many steps the rapper missed.

My favorite dancer Gilles Marini didn’t do as well tonight since he kept looking for a role to play rather than just dancing. He was nervous and really tried to keep going fast like the dance requires but at times he went too fast. Gilles is amazing to watch and no doubt deserves high praise since no other dancer that danced the jive was able to keep the fast pace that Gilles kept. He actually reminded me a lot Hugh Jackman performing on the Oscars.

Julianne and her boyfriend Chuck danced slow and sleezy. Two of the judges said they were great while the one judge said it had too much raunchiness in it. I agree. I don’t know what the hell Julianne was wearing but it didn’t work in her favor. She looked like a cheap hooker with the laced thigh high stockings. She could have done better than this. One of the judges comments were that some of the moves could have been saved for the bedroom. It wasn’t the moves so much as it was Juliannes attire that led to that comment.

Lawrence Taylor came back to his usual upbeat self. A visit from last season’s competitor Warren Sapp generated his good humor once again and was funny to watch the two of them clown around together. Ty and Steve-O should be in the bottom two this week. Either one could go home due to lack of skill. Melissa did alright, but the judges praised her a little too much I felt. She wasn’t as great as they claimed and it wasn’t her best dance.

I cannot believe that Rock of Love Bus has come to an end. Actually, I can. But what I cannot believe is who he Bret Michaels chose in the end. Then again, no I am not too surprised. I am surprised to see how lame the finale was. After months of watching the rock of love bus and anticipating which girl is going to get their ass kicked and then the show is over. After Brett’s two past girlfriends told him he would be better off with Mindy, he chose to go with Taya. He is going to wonder why his relationship with Taya doesn’t work in a couple months from now, but the funny thing is Bret anticipates that he will too. This became evident in the words he said to Taya in the last show.

As usual Bret took the final two girls out on a separate date. He chose to take Taya last which is always an indication that he is feeling the second one more. For example, in the previous season Bret chose Daisy first and she lost. He already knows who he is going to choose but he also knows it won’t last. After saying a pathetic goodbye to Mindy, drama queen Taya slowly walked over to Bret batting her teary eyes. She has become so dramatic during these eliminations that she reminds of the actress in Sunset Blvd Gloria Swanson. Her eyes bat with her fake lashes getting in the way of her dramatic entrance and exit. She has definitely become annoying. Like Mindy explained on her exit interview that Bret will become very aggravated and annoyed with Taya as the months go on and he will stop seeing her. Bret already knows this since he told Taya that he has the ring she chose but he is going to hold onto it until he sees where the relationship goes. He said 99 percent of him loves her and 1 percent is suspicious of her intentions. Lets see, she wears the penthouse t-shirt in every interview excerpts that they have between scenes and she was always talking about her penthouse career. Then she knows how to work a stripper pole and she loves taking her clothes off, but and this is a big one, she didn’t want to sleep with Bret on their last date since she wanted to save herself for him. HUH? Even Mindy who did sleep with Bret on her last date with him admitted spoke how she felt about Taya and she was supposed to be friends with this girl. She didn’t understand how a girl can take her clothes off in a magazine and in clubs and claim she is not that kind of girl. Bret is an idiot, but I guess that’s why he is still single!

The girl he chose in the last season was probably his best chance of ever making a relationship working. She was smart, emotionally strong, attractive, and she wasn’t as skanky as all of the girls on these shows. I just can’t remember her name, but I know that if his relationship with this girl didn’t work then Bret is not going to find any girl to marry.

Here is another thing to think about. Does Bret even have a type of girl that he is attracted to other than silliconed girls? Looking back at all of the girls he made out with over the three seasons, he didn’t have a particular type of girl that he felt more attracted to. This is a bad indication when someone is looking for that special person to spend the rest of their life with. Why? Each person has a particular type of person they are attracted to. They will all have similarities physically and personally. If a person goes with all types of people and say they are in a relationship with different kinds of men or women that serve no similar traits with each other then this shows that the person choosing these people does not know what they really want.

David Alan Grier was voted off of Dancing with the Stars this past week. Even though his performance was better than several other celebrities he still didn’t manage to get the viewer’s votes. Ty Murray and Lawrence Taylor who found themselves in the final three were overlooked as David was announced to go home. Ty should have gone home being that he performed as bad as he did his first week of competition. The paso doble just wasn’t his type of dance.

The highest marks from the judges went to my favorite Gilles Marini. Shawn Johnson followed right behind Gilles. If David was sent home this week then Lawrence will probably go home next alongside country singer Chuck Wickes and Ty. Steve-O may stick around longer than anticipated due to his fans keeping him in. He also hasn’t been doing very well and yet they keep him in partly because he is trying to hard and with a hurt back he just isn’t able to keep up with the others.

The latest news on professional dancer Julianne is that she doesn’t plan to return to the next season of the show since she wants to concentrate on her singing career. She will focus on touring and promoting her latest cd. She may return the next season after but if she remains having a high profiled singing career then chances are she will not come back which really wouldn’t be a good idea. It is DWTS that made her a star to begin with and she should come back to do several more seasons. She has become a viewer favorite along with her brother. By leaving will only hurt in the long run. She can use the show to promote her singing career but not if she leaves.

On I love money 2 Buckwild gets sent home. 20 pack was the paymaster and since everyone is playing for themselves she managed to get picked to go into the box. 20 pack won the challenge which is how he became paymaster, however, his alliance has shrunk to no more than three people that he was out numbered when it came to voting people into the box. Becky ended up in the box alongside her friends Frenchy and Saaphyri.

After their outing with 20 pack he seemed certain that he would send home Frenchy. Then Tailor made got his ear and convinced him to send home Becky Buckwild. Instead of sending home the weakest player which was Frenchy, he sent home one of the stronger players in his alliance. He didn’t make a good move especially since Saaphyri got ticked off and now wants him out of the game.

20 pack seemed torn to make his decision since all of the girls were once a part of his alliance. Yet, for some reason, even though he called Tailor made a snake and claimed he wanted him out of the game he decided to join with him at least for now. Or maybe it was an excuse to just get rid of a player that will give him a hard time down the road to win the money. Not sure but it wasn’t a smart move on his part.

In last nights American Idol they made sure that viewers that were tivo-ing the show missed the last part once again. They have done this several times this season where parts of the show cuts off. It could be a little or it could an entire performance such as Adam Lambert’s performance last night. I cannot believe that while I was watching some the last part of the Biggest Loser, I managed to miss all of Adam’s performance. I just watched some that was put onto yahoo but they didn’t have the entire performance. Apparently Simon gave him a standing ovation.

Adam sang a Tears for Fears song but I am not sure which one it was. I wasn’t familiar with this song from the group. I am a little preturbed that I missed it and I think AI needs to make sure that they don’t run over. There are going to be a lot of votes missed on Adam due to many missing his performance. Not right, but if he ends up with the lowest numbers of votes I am positive the judges will use their save to keep in him. I think they know he is going to win this competition.

Allison sang a Bonnie Rait song which is a very boring song, but she made it her own and did a great job at singing it. I wasn’t so bored listening to it which is a great accomplishment. Any other notables? Probably Matt saved himself this week from the bottom three, but all of the others are really at risk. Danny will not ever end up in the bottom just because he has become such a fan favorite. Lil Rounds and Scott may see themselves facing elimination this week. Lil Rounds is so cool and such a great singer but the judges are right. She killed herself with the Tina Turner classic. No one sings that song other than Tina. Who would try to sing What’s Love Got to do With It? That was completely ridiculous, but she did sing it well just not her own.

Gilles continues to heat up the stage on Dancing with the Stars. There hasn’t been a season yet that a celebrity has managed to learn to dance all types of dances with such perfection and on top of that, a large amount of sexuality. Last season Brooke Burke was considered an attraction and an expert dancer, but she doesn’t top Gilles. This man is hot and seems to explode on stage. He is a great performer. He has been progressing each week and I anticipate watching him to see what he is going to do next. His professional partner Cheyl knows she’s got a winner on her hands and is utilizing every asset Gilles has, which is a lot.

Last night Gilles danced the beginning part of his routine without his shirt (or jacket) on and the girls were screaming before he even began dancing. This is so funny to me. It isn’t his chest that makes me swoon, it is his confidence and ability to make you believe he is the epitimy of hotness.

I don’t remember much about all of the other competitors last night on DWTS. I remember Shawn Johnson and her slow dance with her partner Mark. I remember the sad and slow dance by Steve-O who was dressed in a funny mime costume without the make-up which also resembled a French man. He barely moved and you could see him wincing of pain as he would try to maneuver his back. It was sad, but I love this guy’s conviction. There were a few others that didn’t do very well especially in comparison to the previous weeks. Football player Lawrence Taylor struggled in his dance and hardly did any dancing at all. The rodeo guy also struggled.

I can’t say I remember much at all other than the skills of Gilles. I just hope viewers keep him in since they made sure to mention how one of the cheetah girls were knocked out of the competition in a previous season despite her perfect score.

Finally the finale is almost here for the Rock of Love Bus. The last three girls were Jamie, Taya, and Mindy. Bret spent most of tonight’s episode hanging out with Jamie who joined the show late in the season. She explained that she wasn’t ready for marriage and wanted to date for awhile before planning a serious relationship. Jamie was eliminated because of this but I think it is since Bret didn’t feel an attraction to her. He hadn’t had a chance to develop feelings for her since he hardly spent any time with her throughout the show.

The last two girls are the two that were friends and are now enemies, Taya and Mindy. They argue constantly. One of the funniest moments of the show tonight was when Bret said that he was sitting alone in his room and thought he would go spend some time with the three girls before elimination and the cameras show him walking into an open balcony with his guitar where all of the girls are standing around arguing and yelling at each other. He suddenly decides to turn around and leave and go right to bed.

Taya and Mindy have been friends throughout the show and are now deciding to argue all of the time since Mindy gets accused of being too emotional and Taya gets accused of pretending. I think that Bret will in the end choose Mindy since he admitted that he feels as though being with her feels so right as long as she isn’t throwing a fit over something silly. With Taya he feels as though she is hiding her true self and doesn’t feel comfortable with that. In the finale he admits he will have a ring for whichever girl he chooses. Now, if you weren’t feeling a love for one in particular why have a ring? I think he has already decided who he is going to choose and is just developing a friendship with the others. One bad thing VH1 has done this season with the Rock of Love Bus was make you wait so many weeks before seeing the next show. This has happened twice and by doing this they lose their momentum in keeping their viewers. I have enjoyed watching these horrible people act like complete fools throughout the season, but with several weeks of interruption it takes away the interest or the care to want to see it weeks later. I forget when it is supposed to come on and I forget what has happened several weeks ago if I happen to catch it. After watching tonight’s episode though I would be surprised if Bret picks Taya who has managed to become as annoying as every one of the other girls.

For the Love of Ray J has done what Rock of Love Bus did which is skip a week or so as they get down to the last few girls. Rock of Love Bus is supposed to air sometime this coming week after being gone for two weeks. I think this is due to so many girls getting eliminated faster than they anticipated. The show is supposed to be on the air for a certain amount of weeks, but with the guys eliminating more than they are supposed to in one show they end up falling short of some episodes.

For the Love of Ray J has three girls left as does the Rock of Love Bus. Ray J eliminated chardenay which was a surprise since they seemed to really connect. He has three girls that are completely different in appearance and attitude. Danger should win even though she is crazy. The girl with the blonde hair is still in the running and is annoying with how perfect she thinks she is.

Bret Michaels has three dark haired girls to choose from. Mindy has been recommended by his friends as the best one for him but I think he’s going to choose Taya since he seems to get annoyed with Mindy more than showing affection towards her. He can forget about any of these relationships lasting other than for friendship. None of these girls are really able to handle his nasty lifestyle.

The biggest loser is coming down to its last few contestants. This past week they decided to bring back a contestant from last season who ended up losing more than 80 pounds while at home. She stayed for one week at the camp, gained 5 pounds, and was eliminated. How funny is that? She did better at home. This could be related to added stress making her body store fat or maybe she didn’t eat right while at the ranch. But it was rather funny to watch her be so gung ho about losing so much more weight and returning to the place to only be sent home a week later. She ended up losing a little more weight on top of the 80 something pounds she already lost after returning home.

The person who fell below with Nicole was Ron who ended up in the hospital for several days due to chest pains. His son Michael is still in the competition as well and begged for everyone to keep him since he couldn’t help but be in the hospital and required immeidate attention. He also explained that his father needed to be there to help his chances of improving his health. Ron fell below the yellow line by gaining three pounds.

Tara has been holding the lead for so long throughout the show by being the one who lost the most percentage of fat off of her body. She felt threatened with Nicole showing up and made sure to vote her off.
