Tool Academy Begins its Session
Tool Academy premiered on VH1 on Sunday night. It is about a group of men whose girlfriends decide to connect them with the reality show while making the guys believe they are going for the most handsome competition. In the meantime they don’t know their girlfriends are watching them or will see their interviews. Many admit that they have cheated on their girlfriends as well as treat them like they are slaves. After the guys find out that their girlfriends are there they begin to change their attitudes a little and apologize.
What I am surprised over is that the guys agreed to stay once they found out what the show was about. The way they were acting in the beginning it makes you wonder if they really knew what the show was about. Guys with these type of characters wouldn’t have stayed around knowing they are going to have to improve their attitudes since they don’t believe that anything is wrong with them.
They went through one competition and one of the judges eliminated one couple. I was surprised to see which guy was eliminated. The three bottom guys were one that through a fit and wouldn’t help his girlfriend build a bed. The challenge was for the guy to sit on the sideline and guide the girl on how to put a bed together. Sounds worse than it was, but it was to see who worked best together. The other guy I thought would be sent home and was in the bottom three was one that gave up on his girlfriend midway through since he felt she wasn’t doing good enough. But instead they sent home a guy that was more critical to his girl while she put the bed together. They didn’t think he needed as much work as the other two guys. Most of the girls have said if they get eliminated off the show then the relationship will probably be over. I hate to say it but I would have ended the relationship before putting him on the show. It could be a good concept but the guy would really need to know about the program before getting on in order to know that they really want to change.
