Well, Brooke Burke won the Dancing with the Stars trophy this season. I really was hoping she wouldn’t. I noticed this season had three good dancers and the judges only gave her the 10’s. Very annoying. I can’t stand it when a person gets too much praise and the others are left without enough of it.
I thought it would be cool if the last two standing were Lance and Warren. But I guess it just wasn’t the case this year. Last year was an obvious winner with Kristi Yamaguchi and my favorite pro dancer Mark Ballas. But the year before had Joey Fatone, boxer Ali (forgot her first name) and the car racer that I can’t even remember his name at all. The car racer won and left me highly disappointed since Joey was better. It should have been between Ali and Joey. Oh well. I was disappointed again this year. I have only been pleased with the winner once in all of the seven seasons of the show.
I like Brooke but I felt she wasn’t as great as the judges put her up to be. Warren didn’t get enough credit and Lance never got the full approval of the head judge Len. Ohhh, another season is gone. Very depressing. I wonder who they will have for next season?

On Rock of Love Charm School Brandi C is sent home after spitting in Destiney’s face. The girls had another fight where Lacey and Heather got into a big argument leading Brandi C and Destiney to get in the middle of it. They were all drunk. Yet, Destiney and Brandi C talked the next day and forgave each other whereas Lacey and Heather didn’t. After Heather blurted out how Brandi C spit at Destiney, Sharon questioned what was going on and told her that was against the law and sent her home.
I am surprised Lacey is still there. She really is causing too many problems unnecessarily. Sharon should have sent her home after realizing that Brandi C was drunk and didn’t remember spitting at Destiney until she was told she did so. I really thought Brandi C would have a chance at winning the show but I guess it will be between Destiney and Kristy Jo for sure now.

On Real Chance of Love there was one girl sent home, Meatball. She has been flying under the radar throughout the season. She didn’t stand out at all and seemed to be waiting for the girls that were either annoying or fighting or weird to go home first. She tried making a connection with Chance but he finally sent her home. He admitted there wasn’t anything there.
The real interesting part was how Real continued to try to get one of Chance’s girls to go with him. Then she became angry with Chance for not standing up to Real for her. When Chance finally called her down she rejected his chain and told him off. She almost eliminated herself out of anger. KO almost went home too. Real wasn’t feeling a connection with her and Chance asked for her to come down. He likes her more than Real. She cried and got mad too. They should have sent the both of them home if they aren’t attracted to them. No sense in keeping them around and trying to make them feel something and then turn them away. After KO continued to cry and yell out in that annoying voice of hers Real called for her to take his last chain.
These love shows are rather corny to me anyway. I find it funny when the person eliminated gets so upset ’cause they have feelings for the person. They shouldn’t since it was only a couple of weeks that they knew the person and besides they are so busy kissing on other people that it is almost impossible to develop real feelings. But I guess everyone shows up hoping to become famous or at least find their 15 minutes worth of fame.

Cody got voted off of Dancing with the Stars. Despite how hard he tried he still couldn’t keep up with the final three. He did seem extra stiff during one of his dances and corny in his second dance. The problem is he lacked real confidence and tried too hard to be good. When Cody doesn’t try so hard he can be good. So, he found himself leaving and not making the finale.
Warren, Lance, and Brooke are the final three. If Brooke messes up like she did on her first dance Monday night then she will not be able to compete with Warren and Lance. Warren has to keep entertaining to have a chance and Lance has to perform like he did Monday. That was the best he has done since the show started. He learning to convince himself he can dance. He even lost a shoe and kept going as if nothing happened. Lance could win this if he keeps up the good work. Him and his dance partner, Lacey have very high energy when they come to the floor and when they lack that energy they lack performing well.
Aretha Franklin and Julianne Hough performed on the show Tuesday night when they announced who was staying and who was leaving. It was cool to see Kristi Yamaguchi (last season’s winner) with one of my favorite pro dancers, Mark Ballas. They danced while Aretha sang. It was cool. Look forward to seeing the finale but then I will miss this show. Mondays and Tuesdays nights I always had something fun to watch on tv.

On Rock of Love Charm School Dallas is sent packing. Why? She didn’t try in her challenge. She was paired up with Lacey to make a commercial exposing the harm of alcohol. Dallas got into a fight with Lacey previously and decided to not do it. After pouting for 30 minutes she went ahead and read off the paper what Lacey wrote down without trying to remember her lines. Her attitude was horrible and it showed. Sharon sent her home because of it. Lacey obviously instigated a lot of the anger in Dallas but at the same time Dallas didn’t try avoiding her either.
I didn’t anticipate to see Dallas leave. The way Lacey is she tends to rub people the wrong way and can be very irritating. But she makes good television and the girl is actually intelligent. There are just a few girls left and I imagine Brandi M will be sent home next unless Lacey pushes it once again and gets in trouble. The way Lacey is so pushy she may be going home next week. This is where she lacks intelligence.
Destiney and Kristi Jo will probably last until the end. For how Brandi C over reacts to things (especially if lacey goes home) she will get herself removed from the show. She will probably ask to leave the show. She can’t handle being without her friends even if it is to compete for money.

TRL aired its final show Sunday night. After 10 years MTV has decided to end the show. Carson Daly came back to co-host the show. It’s funny to see him back. His talk show is rather dull but he did do a great job hosting the TRL daily show. In the past couple of years there have been different hosts and they were never able to capture what Carson did.
Beyonce opened the show with a high energy performance singing her latest “If Were a Boy” and “Single Ladies.” She finished with “Crazy in Love.” There were other artists who performed including the reunited Backstreet Boys and Ludacris, Nelly, and Snoop Dog. They all performed with one of their hit songs. There were interviews with Hillary Duff, Christina Aguilera, and Justin Timberlake with JC Chasez. Some artists were interviewed twice like Justin and Christina and rapper M&M was interviewed by phone. There were others that came on the show such as Kid Rock and 50 cent.
The show could have been better. It saddens me that the show was ruined as they ruined what the show was all about. In previous shows that I have seen it seemed unorganized and the hosts were rather dull or trying to hard to do a good interview or show a video. It was best when it was simple and spent most of the time showing clips of videos. It used to make it fun for teenagers to make their votes count on their favorite songs. It’s a shame that a great show went down the tubes. Just goes to show how important it is to have a good host for any program.

In the last episode of Charm School the Rock of Love girls had to split into three separate groups. They had to meet who they thought was a royal duchess when in fact she was an actress portraying one. The girls didn’t know this and did their best to impress. Anytime they were to talk to the duchess they had to say her full name which was made up and hideous. Most of the girls messed it up except for Lacy.
Kristy Jo was captain of her team of Brandi M and Jessica. Inna ended up with Lacy and Brandi C. They lost to the rest of the girls on the third team. Inna decided to go down since she was captain of her team and was pointed out for having cleavage showing. Jessica was manipulated by Brandi M to go up for elimination. Brandi M got called down anyway to be told she was coming down to the carpet too much. OK. She wasn’t eliminated either. Jessica cried her way to stay while Inna went home. Brandi M should have gone home simply because she is a pain in the butt. She never seems to get anything right and is always in conflict with others. Megan was right. She is trailor park trash.
Next week I can almost guarantee Brandi M will go home. Something else is going to happen and she is going to screw it up as usual. Since Megan is gone Brandi C isn’t crying as much and Lacy has been pretty quiet. Dallas has too. At this point, after Brandi M goes home there’s no telling who will be sticking around.

Real and Chance continue to try to find the girl of their dreams. However in the group of girls they have it doesn’t seem as though they will. They don’t seem to be connecting with anyone and Real keeps sending girls home left and right. Chance sent home SoHood last week but Real sent home Promo too. This week Chance sent home Lusty who was considered weird by the other girls. They didn’t like her strange eyes. In fact Kiki kept teasing her about her dead mother. Real still kept Kiki because she fessed up to doing it and apologized. Huh? I don’t think I could keep such a character in the bunch. She should have been sent home.

I love it when I am right. Maurice Greene was eliminated off of Dancing with the Stars. He was in the bottom with Cody as I predicted. Every once in a while I seem to get these things right. It isn’t that Maurice was bad either. He just wasn’t as good as the others.
I imagine Cody or Lance will go next week. They both seem so determined to stick around, but Brooke continues to get great scores and comments from the judges and Warren always entertains. I would really love to see Warren win over Brooke simply because it takes more than just dancing technique to be a good dancer. You have to have both qualities.
Many fans are routing for Brooke since she is a woman and there have only been two women winners in the seven seasons of the show. That doesn’t mean she should win it though. I think Warren is a crowd favorite for sure and I love his willingness to try anything no matter how hard it is for him to do.
Dancing with the Stars is also up for a People’s Choice Award. I’m not sure who they are up against but they definitely deserve the acknowledgement for such a great concept and good family entertainment.
