Keep Your Pet out of the Heat

With the temperatures rising higher than it has in years in most states you must make sure you keep your pets out of the backyards and cars. Leaving your pet in a car during the day could kill them even if the windows are open. Be sure to leave the car on with the a/c on or don’t bring your pets with you when you run errands. Even though your pet may be looking at you to take them with you, resist their adoring eyes. They need to remain safe in their homes.

If you have a dog out in the backyard then figure out a way that they can stay out of the direct sunlight. Give them shade with large patio umbrellas. They will definitely lie underneath it. Bring them inside the home if possible or the garage. Anything is better than leaving out in the excruciating hot sun. No human can bare the sun beating down their heads without suffering a heat stroke then don’t think that an animal can’t suffer the same if not worse.

With temperatures reaching 110 this summer you must think about your pets and do the best thing for them. Tie them up in the house if you don’t want them all over your rug or furniture. The point is they will be inside where there is air and not extremely hot temperatures. Just think about it.
