Latest Hurricane Threat for Louisiana

dsc_10301.jpg
The republican convention has been delayed or postponed. McCain said he is concerned for the people in Louisiana and want to show support for them. He announced that we should come together as Americans to help support each other during these hard times of a weather disaster. I think fellow Americans have been doing what they can, but thanks to the lack of help that the Bush administration has offered in the past couple of years to repair the damages made by hurricane Katrina we seem to not care what a politician has to say. At least a republican politician. I am a republican and am extremely angry over what has occurred in the past eight years. Too many people have suffered through the administration’s greed that it makes it hard to trust what McCain has to say. It’s hard to trust any politicians word quite frankly, but in particular a republican politician. McCain stated he didn’t want to see another Katrina but so many victims of Katrina have not been helped since their homes were destroyed. How about taking care of the conditions that have already occurred instead of claiming you are there to help them “if” it happens again. Complete crap and manipulation out of hopes that we forgot that nothing has been done from the Katrina storm. I didn’t forget.

Hurricane Gustav is said to hit New Orleans sometime this week and they fear floodings and more loss of homes. It saddens me that these people continue to get hit without enough funds to be able to rebuild the way they need to. My thoughts and prayers go out the residents of Louisiana and anyone else that may fall victim of the harsh hurricanes.
