Hotspots in Chicago
When in Chicago there are some of the best places to visit. Depending on if you are single or with a family will determine what it is that you will do. For the family visiting the Millenium Park is something you may want to put on your agenda. Visiting a nice restaurant such as the Delacoste restaurant and Lounge would make a great addition. This restaurant offers various cuisines and foods of Spain, South America, and the Caribbean dishes. However, if you are single there are several places you will want to go that are geared towards singles.
The Hunt Club and the Funky Buddha Lounge are both very different hot spots for single people in Chicago. The Hunt Club has a DJ at night and includes large television for watching sports events along with great food and drinks. The Funky Buddha Lounge is a dance lounge that has an emphasis on jazz music.
There is live music at the Green Mill Cocktail Lounge. They also play mostly jazz, but also include rhythm and blues. On Sundays they have a time for Uptown Poetry Slam. This is ideal for the older singles.
Lottie’s Pub, Original Mother’s, and Ghost Bar are all places singles would love. They all have great crowds especially on the weekends that want to go hang out and meet other singles. There’s great music and dancing.
The Spy Bar is one of the better nightclubs to go to if you are one of those people that enjoy staying up real late. The action typically gets started sometime after 2am.
Dave and Busters is another great place to visit if you want to meet other singles. There’s food and drinks along with video games and various other games to play such as skeeball and pool. This is perfect for those that don’t want to be involved in heavy drinking and dancing.
There are plenty of places to see when you go to Chicago. If you are someone that enjoys partying all night long then you shouldn’t have any trouble finding a place to go. Check out some local museums especially the planetarium or the Lincoln Park Zoo and you may come across some interesting people.
